University of MichiganA. Alfred Taubman College of Architecture + Urban Planning

TCAUP CENTENNIAL CONFERENCE #1

November 3–4 2006, 8AM–5PM

OPENING PANEL/PARTY THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 2, 6:00 PM

This first centennial conference highlights the work of TCAUP faculty and its connections to the future of the college and the fields of architecture, urban planning, and urban design.

We are reflecting on our historic past, contemplating our present, and projecting ourselves into the future. Join us in this TCAUP 100th year celebration.

Four provocative cross-disciplinary sessions are planned to showcase the personal reflections of faculty on their work. These sessions will be moderated by leading scholars and friends of our college, Michael Benedikt, Hema Dandekar, Sheila Kennedy, and Lars Lerup, with plenty of time for discussion. We hope to emerge from this conference with a better sense of our identity and our pulse as a College, not only where we are now, but where we might go as we enter our second century.

We invite you to join this exciting conversation!
