  URBAN PLANNING OUTREACH

The Community Partnership Center (CPC) gives students at Taubman College of Architecture + Urban Planning opportunities to provide planning assistance to nonprofit organizations in Detroit, Ann Arbor, and other Michigan communities. The outreach reports website provides descriptions of outreach projects conducted by faculty and students in the Urban + Regional Planning program.
     
  Muschenheim Digital Collection

More than 3,500 scans of drawings and photographs by renowned architect William Muschenheim are now available in a searchable online database thanks to
collaboration between the University of Michigan's Bentley Historical Library and Columbia University's Avery Library.
     
  Detroit Design Charrette 2005

Detroit's Eastern Market, established as an open air farmer's market in 1841, is planning to substantially renovate its historic sheds. While plans for these improvements are underway, this year's charrette will envision the possibilities for the neighborhood as a whole. The 2005 charrette will begin Friday morning, January 21 and runs through Monday evening, January 24 with a public presentation of results at the Gem Theatre starting at 5:00 p.m. More information on this and previous charrettes is available at the TCAUP charrette website above.
