Dean Search
After 10 busy and productive years as dean of Taubman College, Doug Kelbaugh is stepping down at the end of summer 2008. The University of Michigan is searching for a dean who, working together with the TCAUP community, will continue to enhance the national and international standing of the College and help set the strategic vision and priorities for the next phase of its growth. Expanded Horizons visits the Twin Cities
A record 60 urban planning students participated in this fall's Expanded Horizons course, an intensive on-site field study. Since 1989, this workshop has traveled to a number of cities in the U.S. and Canada, including Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Cincinnati, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Toronto. Winter Lecture and Exhibit Schedule
Taubman College's lecture and event schedule for winter semester includes something for everyone from an Interdisciplinary Graduate Student Conference on International Metropolitan Expansion, to presentations by Catherine Seavitt, B.S.'91 and Guy Nordenson; to a mini-lecture series titled China Near-Now, which will feature current projects in design, creative practice, architecture and urbanism in China. |
