Architecture Faculty
The University of Michigan Taubman College of Architecture + Urban Planning seeks one Tenured, Tenure Track or Professor of Practice Faculty member in each of the following areas:
- Design and Sustainability
- Design and Landscape
- Design and Digital Media Arts
Candidates must demonstrate expertise and achievement in architectural design and capacity for teaching in a collaborative studio setting. Additionally, applicants must exhibit knowledge and experience in one or more of the following subject areas:
- Sustainable Design: solar and energy efficient design, green materials and practices.
- Landscape: landscape architecture, site engineering and environmental design.
- Digital Media: multiple forms of representation and fabrication including, but not limited to image and graphic design, drawing, modeling and animation, CNC milling, B.I.M. and parametric modeling.
Candidates should have a M.Arch or Ph.D Degree or equivalent, and a strong record of teaching, research, scholarship, publication and/or related professional experience.
