Dimensions is the annual, student-produced journal of the
A. Alfred Taubman College of Architecture + Urban Planning that seeks to contribute to the critical discourse of architectural education by documenting the most compelling work produced by its students, fellows and visiting lecturers.
Dimensions 21 Call for Submissions
Dimensions is issuing an open call for Thesis and Wallenberg projects from '07 Michigan graduates. We invite you to submit materials for possible inclusion in Dimensions 21, slated for publication in Summer 2008. Submission requirements and deadlines for the open call are listed below.
Thesis Submissions
Open Call Submission Requirements:
- Submit one print-quality PDF (under 5MB please) via email to d21thesis@umich.edu.
- PDFs higher than 5MB should be mailed to Dimensions 21 c/o Taubman College or sent via an on-line service such as yousendit.com.
- Your submission should include both project text (700-1300 words) and descriptive imagery. Full name and a current email address must be included within your email.
- In order to keep submittals anonymous, your name should not appear anywhere within the PDF. Your PDF should be named "Thesis_Uniqname.pdf." Files will be renamed anonymously by the staff of Dimensions before being reviewed.
Your submission will be used as a basis for the Dimensions staff to select projects for inclusion in Dimensions 21. To best represent your project, please provide the most relevant documentation. Keep in mind that this PDF will not be the final layout published, and additional materials and native files will be requested upon acceptance.

- Email confirmation of receipt of PDF submission:
November 3 - Notification of selection decisions: November 13
- Further submission guidelines will be sent with the acceptance notifications.

Wallenberg Submissions
