Design:
The design of your business card is a matter of personal preference and industry standards. Single sided, two sided, portrait, landscape, full color or monochrome, on white card stock, colored card stock or other media are among the choices you should consider. Some software packages offer design templates to assist first time designers.
Tips for printing a Multi-up sheet without predefined software templates:
Add Crop Marks: Adding reference marks for cutting are always recommended. Generally, crop marks are simple crosshairs (+) in the four corners of the design.
Bleed Space:If any part of your card design goes to the physical edge of the card, add bleed space where the print area extends out slightly beyond the cut line. Doing so will minimize any subsequent trimming errors.
