Printing From MacOS X

1) Open the program you will use to print out your document (i.e., Adobe Photoshop, Adobe
Illustrator, etc.). When you are ready to print, select "Page Setup..." from the "File" menu at the top of the screen (see Application Specific Notes FAQ for InDesign instructions).

2) In the "Page Setup" dialog, select "X12-E690-DC12-Hold" from the "Format for:" dropdown list.

3) In the "Page Setup" dialog, select the appropriate paper size from the "Paper Size" dropdown list.

4) Click the OK button.

5) Select "Print..." from the "File" menu.

6) Make sure the "X12-E690-DC12-Hold" printer is listed in the "Print" dialog.

7) Click the "Print" button. The file will be sent to the Copy Center and be maintained in a "hold"
status. Hint: Remember what you called your file.

8) Go to the Copy Center (room 2109) and have your file physically printed from within the Fiery X12 print queue.
Printing From Windows

i2) In the "Page Setup" dialog, check that you have the correct printer selected by clicking the "Printer..." button in the lower right corner. Choose "Fiery X12 Color Server PS" or "\\TC-PRINT\Fiery X12 Color Server" from the dropdown list.
3) In the "Page Setup" dialog, select the appropriate paper size from the "Paper Size" dropdown list.

4) Click the OK button

5) Select "Print..." from the "File" menu.

6) Make sure the "Fiery X12 Color Server PS" printer is listed in the "Print" dialog.

7) Click the "Print" button. The file will be sent to the Copy Center and be maintained in a "hold"
status. Hint: Remember what you called your file.
